Over the last decade support for individuals with mental illness has been transformed through the National Service Framework and the development of the IAPT programme. The Government’s New Horizons Initiative is about taking the next decisive step forward, recognising mental health and wellbeing as not just a health concern but a major social issue.
This one-day programme aims to identify how investment in design and innovative solutions can positively impact today’s mental healthcare environment for patients and for staff.
One day programme designed to help you:
- Address the impact of design on service improvements for mental health patients
- Review the strategy, action points and impact of the Government's New Horizons strategy
- Identify good practice, and the evidence base, for the health, economic and social benefits of art in healthcare
If you specialise in providing mental health services, then why not join us? You will have the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, influencers, investors and experts in this field to discuss the way forward for improving mental health provision in the UK.
