Using electronic data to maximise resources, save costs and win cases
Date: 15 Jun 2010 - 15 Jun 2010
Location: DeVere Holborn Bars (Holborn Room) 138–143 Holborn London EC1N 2NQ

With the increasing dependency on technology for data storage and communication, electronic disclosure is becoming an increasingly pressing issue in litigation for law firms, as well as the public sector and corporate organisations.
This past year has seen the publication of Lord Justice Jackson’s litigation cost review, as well as cases, most notably Digicel vs. Cable & Wireless, and Earles v. Barclays which will be sure to have an impact on law firms around the world and their approaches to litigation. These events will provide a guideline for law firms to follow the rules and deliver a service consistent with their clients’ needs, despite increasing volumes of data and restricted resources in the economic downturn.
As well as improving internal processes of records management and email archiving, having to provide evidentiary material for litigation, regulatory or internal investigations, sometimes across international jurisdictions provides additional challenges in compliance for internal and external legal teams and IT departments.
Following on from the success of our 2009 conference, Ark Group is happy to present our 4th annual E-disclosure conference, a one-day event covering the most important updates and developments in the e-disclosure world including:
